The Bibb County Grand Jury met for the last time in the calendar year 2022 on December 12, 2022. 65 cases were considered including: 2 murder cases, 20 aggravated assault/battery cases, 4 armed robbery/home invasion cases, 3 arson cases, 2 cruelty to children cases, 1 terroristic threats case, 1 child molestation case, 1 aggravated sodomy case, 1 aggravated sexual battery case, 3 failure to register by sex offender cases, 3 burglary (1st/2nd degree) cases, 3 property damage cases, 1 theft case, 3 forgery/identity fraud cases, 1 fleeing and attempting to elude case, 1 felony obstruction case, 10 cases involving the Violation of the Georgia Controlled Substances Act, 2 animal cruelty/dog fighting cases, 2 cases involving unlawful possession of firearm, and 1 case involving the Violation of the Oath of Office by an Officer case.
