A new Grand Jury was sworn in on February 5, 2024. After orientation, the Grand Jury immediately began to consider cases.

The Grand Jury considered 41 cases, including: 3 murder cases, 9 aggravated assault cases, 1 aggravated battery case, 1 serious injury by vehicle case, 1 terroristic threats case, 2 felony obstruction of an officer cases, 4 cases of unlawful violence in a penal institution, 2 cases of burglary, 2 cases of cruelty to children, 5 cases involving the fleeing and eluding from police officers, 3 cases of failure to register as sex offender, 3 possession of prohibited item by inmate cases, 1 possession of firearm by convicted felon, 3 cases involving Violation of Georgia Controlled Substances Act, and 1 case of crossing guard lines with drugs.
