P.A.U.S.E.

P.A.U.S.E., Pedestrian Awareness Understanding Safety Education, seeks to teach life saving pedestrian habits to students and familes.

What is P.A.U.S.E?

Project P.A.U.S.E. (Pedestrian Awareness & Understanding Safety Education) promotes safe walking habits to prevent pedestrian injuries and fatalities. With 69 pedestrian deaths in Macon-Bibb from 2019–2023 and pedestrians accounting for 34% of traffic fatalities in 2023, awareness is critical.

Project P.A.U.S.E. serves Bibb, Peach, and Crawford counties within the Macon Judicial Circuit.
