On April 6, 2015, Curtis McGarrett Ford, Jr., was sentenced as a First Offender to serve 15 years on probation and some probation detention center time on charges of Violation of Street Gang Terrorism, as a member of Young N Thuggin, and Hindering the Apprehension of a Criminal. Ford came before the court again on January 24, 2023, on charges that he had violated his probation in a number of ways, including by Possession of a Firearm by a First Offender Probationer. The Judge heard testimony presented by the District Attorney’s Office that Ford was in a local house with other probationers where numerous firearms, including stolen firearms were found in plain sight. Ford was found GUILTY of violating his probation and was resentenced to 25 years, with the first 20 to be served in prison.
