The Bibb County Grand Jury began the new year considering 60 cases, on January 10, 2023, including: 6 murder cases, 11 aggravated assault/battery cases, 2 armed robbery cases, 3 terroristic threat cases, 2 vehicular homicide cases, 2 cases of serious injury by vehicle, 2 child molestation/aggravated child molestation cases, 1 rape case, 1 arson case, 4 felony obstruction/fleeing and eluding cases, 7 burglary (1st/2nd) cases, 2 criminal damage to property cases, 1 Violation of Criminal Gang Statute case, 1 possession of firearm by convicted felon case, 4 cases involving violations of the Georgia Controlled Substances Act, 8 cases of failure to register by a sex offender and 2 cases of driving while license suspended (felony grade).
