Junior Justice League

For many youth in our communities, their first interaction with the Criminal Justice System is negative and creates a foundation of fear, anger, and mistrust. To create positive experiences with law enforcement and the criminal justice system, DA Anita Howard has created the Junior Justice League.

What is the Junior Justice League?

The Junior Justice League is a summer opportunity for middle school students in the Macon Judicial Circuit to learn more about the criminal justice system by interacting with all aspects of it in a positive manner.

Through exposure to educational and cultural activities in our community and beyond, the Junior Justice League teaches our youth about being violence interrupters, building a future they can be proud of, and learning about careers in the legal field and beyond.

Who can participate in the Junior Justice League?

The Junior Justice League is a program open to any middle school-aged student in the Macon Judicial Circuit (Bibb, Crawford, and Peach Counties).

While any student can apply, priority will be assigned to applicants who have been victims of traumatic events, specifically criminal events, in our Circuit. Students are allowed to reapply for subsequent years but may not be selected pending needs of other students.

Applications are accepted year-round! Click the button below to submit one for a student in your life today!
